Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla to the butter mixture and whisk until combined.
- Stir in the flour mixture until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until the cookies look set.
