Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cream together the butter, vegetable oil, and dark brown sugar in a medium bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract, table salt, and egg white; mix thoroughly to combine.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda, then stir into the batter.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
- Drop 48 half-teaspoons of dough onto one or two large nonstick baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake until the edges are golden, about 4 to 6 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
