Instructions
- If using raw sunflower seeds, preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and spread the seeds on a baking sheet to roast for 10-15 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Transfer the roasted sunflower seeds to a food processor or high-speed blender and blend for about 5-7 minutes until a butter forms, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Add the salt, chia seeds, flaxseed meal, hemp seeds, and pumpkin seeds to the blended sunflower butter and pulse to combine.
- Taste and adjust the flavor by adding more salt or sweetener if desired, avoiding liquid sweeteners.
- Store the sunflower butter at room temperature for 1-2 weeks or in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
