Chocolate Turtle Cookies

Instructions
- Chill the cookie dough for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
- Beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Add milk to the dough and mix until sticky.
- Let the dough sit at room temperature for 10-20 minutes before scooping.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Scoop and roll the dough into balls, then roll in chopped pecans.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Drizzle with salted caramel before serving.
