5 Minute Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

The sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ΒΌ cup white wine
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly cracked black pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with salt and pepper, cooking for about 1 minute without stirring.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds while stirring.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, cooking for 2 minutes while stirring until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  5. Toss with fresh parsley and salt to taste, then serve over your choice of rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or cauliflower rice.
