Instructions
- Combine the Zesty Italian dressing, barbecue sauce, and brown sugar to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken pieces in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to low heat (no more than 350 degrees). For charcoal grills, set up for indirect heat.
- Cook the chicken over low/indirect heat for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- If the chicken skin isn't brown enough, increase the heat and sear the skin side for a short time.
- Baste the chicken with additional barbecue sauce before serving.
