Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and non-dairy milk, then mix this into the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Add the applesauce or yogurt, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and mix well.
- Fold in the chopped apple, adjusting the milk if the batter is too dry.
- Pour the batter into the lined baking dish and top with optional apple slices.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, raw sugar, and almond flour to create a crumble topping, then sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 28 to 35 minutes, covering with foil after 20 minutes to prevent over-browning.
- Let the cake cool for 20 minutes in the fridge before serving.
