Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Add the bread cubes and toss to coat, then refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Toss the bread cubes again and refrigerate for another 10-30 minutes.
- Grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line with paper liners.
- Portion the mixture into the muffin cups, pressing down slightly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the tops are crispy and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with syrup and/or whiskey cream cheese glaze.
- For the glaze, whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, whiskey, and vanilla until smooth, adding milk to thin as needed.
