Chocolate Covered Strawberries

large ripe strawberries

chopped nuts (almonds or pecans) or coconut flakes
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 20-30 seconds until smooth.
- Add oil to the melted chocolate for shine.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate, coating about ¾ of the strawberry.
- Let excess chocolate drip off and place the strawberry on the parchment paper.
- If desired, roll the dipped strawberries in nuts or coconut flakes.
- Refrigerate the strawberries until the chocolate is firm, for at least 30 minutes.
