Garlic Aioli

Ingredients

  • 1 large Egg (at room temperature)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • ΒΌ tsp Sea salt
  • 1 cup Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Crack the egg into a tall, wide mouth glass jar.
  2. Add the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and sea salt on top of the egg without mixing.
  3. Pour the olive oil on top without stirring.
  4. Submerge an immersion blender into the bottom of the jar and blend on low for about 20 seconds.
  5. Gradually move the blender upward and downward until the aioli thickens into a creamy sauce.
  6. Store the garlic aioli in the jar in the refrigerator.
