Ingredients

The meatloaf

  • 5 pounds ground turkey
  • cups bread crumbs
  • 4 large eggs

The mixture

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • teaspoons tomato paste

The topping

  • ¾ cup ketchup

Seasonings

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook onions with thyme, salt, and pepper until translucent.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, and tomato paste, then cool the mixture.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, eggs, and the cooled onion mixture, and mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet and spread ketchup on top.
  6. Bake for about 1½ hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
