Ingredients

Meatloaf Mixture

  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Turkey (85%-93% lean is best)
  • ½ cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Milk, or half and half
  • ½ Sweet Onion grated or minced (or 2 Tablespoons dehydrated onion)
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Poultry Seasoning (or Italian seasoning)

Sauce Topping

  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all meatloaf mixture ingredients until well mixed, avoiding overworking the mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet, or use a loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165 degrees.
  5. If the temperature is below 165 degrees, return it to the oven for an additional 15 minutes and check again.
  6. If there's leftover topping sauce, use it as a dip or spread it over the cooked meatloaf before serving.
