Ingredients

The meatloaf

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ onion finely diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, finely diced
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb spicy Italian sausage
  • 1 tsp pepper

The wrapping

  • 8-10 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line the bottom with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, diced onion, diced mushrooms, diced oregano, ground beef, spicy Italian sausage, and pepper.
  3. 3. Mix the ingredients well using your hands and divide the mixture into 8-10 equal portions, shaping them into small balls.
  4. 4. Wrap a slice of bacon around each meatloaf ball and place them in a muffin tin, ensuring the ends of the bacon meet or slightly overlap.
  5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
