Ingredients

The brownies

  • 1 cup almond meal or flour
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • 3–4 tablespoon mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chocolate almond or coconut milk
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • cup hot chocolate mix
  • 2 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon organic vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Toppings

  • to taste powdered sugar
  • few tablespoon mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 brownie pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine almond meal and coconut flour, sifting the coconut flour to avoid clumps.
  3. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix chocolate milk and hot chocolate mix, heating until blended.
  5. Pour the hot chocolate mixture into the flour mix and fold in the eggs.
  6. Add melted coconut oil, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt, mixing until smooth.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar or cocoa before serving.
