Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 10 ounces almond flour
  • 3 ounces Bob's Red Mill Golden Flax Meal
  • 100 grams NOW Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg whites
  • 3 ounces vinegar
  • 14 ounces boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8x4 inch metal loaf pan.
  2. Grind the golden flax meal until very fine.
  3. Measure and mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, measure the egg whites and vinegar, then combine with the dry ingredients.
  5. Quickly add boiling water to the mixture and mix until just incorporated.
  6. Shape the dough gently and transfer it to the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 80-90 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 205-210°F.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a rack.
