Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves, and water in a large saucepan.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar melts.
- Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture reaches 232 degrees F (soft ball stage).
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the pecans.
- Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and allow to cool.
