Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small head green cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage, salt, and pepper, and toss to combine.
  4. Cook for 2 minutes until the cabbage starts to soften.
  5. Add the apple cider vinegar and continue to cook, tossing, until most of the liquid evaporates and the cabbage is tender and browned, about 6 minutes.
  6. Season to taste and serve.
