Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then blot them dry.
- In a food processor, blend the chickpeas and sesame seeds until a paste forms.
- Chop the garlic, onion, and carrots, then add them to the food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add the cilantro and pulse again until chopped, then combine with the chickpea mixture.
- Stir in the flour, spices, salt, and pepper, then form the mixture into 8 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the patties to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes on each side.
- For the sauce, mix garlic, dill, lemon juice, yogurt, olive oil, and salt in a bowl.
- Assemble the burgers with the yogurt sauce and desired toppings.
