Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and knead with your hands until well mixed, being careful not to overmix.
- 3. Transfer the mixture to a large baking dish or rimmed baking sheet and shape it into a loaf.
- 4. Bake in the oven for 75 to 90 minutes, basting once or twice, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- 5. If the meatloaf starts to darken too much, cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
- 6. Once done, let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
- 7. Serve with chopped parsley and a splash of hot sauce if desired.
