Flourless Banana Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup very overripe mashed banana
  • 1 cup natural salted peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • tsp nutmeg
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth, measuring out 1 cup.
  3. Add peanut butter, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt to the bowl and whisk until very smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, topping with extra chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, then cool, slice, and enjoy!
