Ingredients

The chicken

  • 3 lbs chicken tenders
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tsp salt

Honey Mustard Sauce

  • cup dijon or spicy brown mustard
  • cup honey
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken tenders with olive oil, garlic, and salt in a bag for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare honey mustard sauce by mixing mustard, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Split the sauce in half, saving half for later.
  4. Preheat the grill to 425 degrees and grease it well.
  5. Grill the chicken tenders for 3 minutes, then flip and brush with honey mustard sauce.
  6. Close the lid and grill for another 3 minutes.
  7. Flip again, brush the other side with sauce, and grill for 2 minutes.
  8. Flip one last time for grill marks and remove once internal temperature reaches 165°F.
