The asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Trim or snap the woody ends from the asparagus and dry them well.
  3. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and shake the tray to coat the asparagus.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 8 to 15 minutes until the asparagus is tender but not mushy.
