Quick Garlic Parmesan Broccoli

Instructions
- Peel the tough skin from the lower portion of the broccoli stems and cut the florets with a bit of stem attached.
- Zest the lemon and set the zest aside.
- Add water to a pot, place a steam basket inside, and add the broccoli. Cover and steam for about five minutes until bright green and slightly crisp.
- While steaming, sauté minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
- Transfer the steamed broccoli to the skillet with garlic, add lemon juice, and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper, then top with grated Parmesan and lemon zest.
- Optionally, broil for a minute to toast the Parmesan.
