Roasted Broccoli Parmesan

homemade or jarred marinara sauce

shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Trim about 1 inch off the broccoli stems and discard, then slice the broccoli stalks in half lengthwise.
- Place the broccoli and garlic on a baking pan and drizzle with olive oil, seasoning both sides with salt.
- Roast the broccoli cut side up for about 10 minutes until browned on the bottom.
- Turn the broccoli and garlic, then roast for an additional 10 minutes until tender and crisp.
- Top the broccoli with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake until hot and the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
