Garlic Parmesan Broccolini

Ingredients

The Broccolini

  • 1 lb broccolini

The Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste none salt
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 wedges lemon, optional

Instructions

  1. Rinse the broccolini with cold water and trim ½ inch off the bottom part of the stems.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  3. Sauté the garlic until it turns light brown before adding the broccolini.
  4. Toss and stir the broccolini and garlic with a spatula.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Once the stems of the broccolini become tender, remove from heat.
  7. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese and lemon wedges if using.
  8. Serve immediately.
