Pecan Granola Bars

Instructions
- Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
- Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat for 4 to 7 minutes until fragrant, then chop them and set aside 16 halves for garnish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, and salt.
- If using homemade pecan butter, blend it with maple syrup and vanilla; otherwise, whisk together nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla in a measuring cup.
- Mix the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined, then fold in chopped pecans.
- Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with reserved pecan halves.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour to set before slicing into bars.
