Ingredients

The dough

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice
  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs

The topping

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Microwave the mozzarella cheese and milk until melted, then whisk to combine.
  3. Transfer the cheese mixture to a mixing bowl and let it cool slightly for 2 minutes.
  4. Add almond flour, eggs, and baking powder to the cheese mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and flatten them into rough circles.
  6. Place the naan on the lined tray and bake for 18-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let the naan sit for 10 minutes before brushing with garlic butter, if desired.
