Ingredients

The Bloody Mary Mix

  • 48 ounces tomato juice
  • 3 tablespoons prepared creamy hot horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 ΒΌ teaspoons celery salt
  • 3 teaspoons garlic salt
  • to taste Tabasco sauce
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

For Serving

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 tablespoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • as desired garnishes (e.g., limes, lemons, celery ribs, olives, bacon, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Mix the tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, garlic salt, and black pepper in a large pitcher.
  2. Season with Tabasco sauce to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. To prepare the glasses, mix celery salt and kosher salt on a small plate.
  4. Dip the rim of each glass in water, then into the salt mixture.
  5. Fill an 8-ounce glass with ice, add vodka, and top with the Bloody Mary mix.
  6. Garnish with your choice of toppings.
