Cilantro Lime Salmon

Ingredients

The marinade

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ¼ tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

The salmon

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 1 lime for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic, lime juice, salt, cayenne pepper, and half of the cilantro in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Marinate the salmon in the mixture while the oven preheats.
  4. Transfer the salmon to a lined baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove from the oven, top with remaining cilantro, garnish with lime, and serve immediately.
