Honey, Lemon & Rosemary Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

The marinade

  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

The chicken

  • 4 pieces skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • extra olive oil for brushing the grill

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a Ziploc bag, add the marinade, and coat well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high and brush with olive oil.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for about 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Serve warm.
