Instructions
- Prepare the grill with one side for direct cooking at medium-high heat and the other for low, indirect heat.
- Brush the cooking grates clean.
- Drizzle the chicken breasts with olive oil and rub it over them, then season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken on the hot grill and cover, cooking for 4-5 minutes until it releases easily from the grates.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Move the chicken to the indirect heat and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until firm and opaque, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Add the lemon halves to the grill cut side down halfway through cooking the chicken, cooking for 3-5 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate, cover with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
