Grilled Chicken Breast

Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 8-oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts

The marinade

  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 4 medium Lemons (juiced and zested)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Honey (or sugar-free honey)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • ¾ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Add chicken breasts to a large plastic bag, pour in the marinade, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade, shake off excess, and place on the grill smooth side down.
  5. Grill for 6-8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
