Instructions
- Butter both sides of the bread.
- Cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread using a cookie cutter or a glass.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over low/medium heat.
- Add the bread and the cutouts to the pan and toast for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip.
- Crack an egg into each hole and cover the pan, cooking for 3-5 minutes depending on desired yolk doneness.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
