Instructions
- Sauté the onions, red bell peppers, and garlic in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
- In a food processor, combine the black beans, cooked quinoa, sautéed vegetables, red pepper flakes, gluten free flour, ground black pepper, and sea salt. Pulse until well combined.
- Form the mixture into burger patties using a measuring cup for uniformity, and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Refrigerate the patties for about 10 minutes for better cohesion if desired.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add the burgers, and cook for about 6 minutes on each side until crispy and cooked through.
- Serve the burgers as desired, with toppings and sauces.
