Ingredients

The salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon

The marinade/glaze

  • cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • cup honey
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger

Optional garnish

  • to taste chopped green onion
  • to taste sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the salmon in a mixture of soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  3. Place the marinated salmon on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  4. While the salmon bakes, reduce the remaining marinade in a saucepan until thickened.
  5. Drizzle the thickened glaze over the salmon and serve with optional garnishes.
