Ingredients

The nut butter

  • 1 cup all natural peanut butter
  • cup pumpkin puree, strained overnight
  • 2 tbsp black strap molasses
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp ground clove

Add-ins

  • ½ cup Thompson raisins
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Strain the pumpkin puree overnight in a fine mesh sieve or colander lined with cheesecloth.
  2. Combine the peanut butter, strained pumpkin puree, molasses, and spices in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Add the raisins and pumpkin seeds, and process until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to glass jars and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
