Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
- Toast the walnuts on a baking sheet until fragrant.
- In a bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the apples and walnuts gently.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then tent with foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
