Instructions
- Prepare the BBQ sauce by simmering avocado oil, garlic, and ginger, then adding the remaining ingredients and simmering for 10 minutes.
- Remove the membrane from the ribs using a butter knife and paper towel.
- Mix salt, pepper, and garlic salt to create a rub and apply it to the ribs.
- Preheat the smoker to 250°F and smoke the ribs for 2 hours.
- Wrap the ribs in foil with apple juice, butter, and honey, then return to the smoker for another 2 hours.
- After 2 hours in foil, remove the ribs and increase the smoker temperature to 325°F.
- Glaze the ribs with BBQ sauce and smoke for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour until the sauce caramelizes.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
