Ingredients

  • 1 lb grass fed ground beef
  • ½ medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons Penzeys Turkish seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ghee

Instructions

  1. Gather and prep your ingredients.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté diced onion with salt and pepper until softened, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Transfer the cooked onion and garlic to a bowl to cool.
  5. In a large bowl, combine beef, cooled onion mixture, Turkish seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
  6. Mix well without overworking the meat, then form into 8 sliders.
  7. Place sliders on a plastic-wrap lined platter, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for 2 hours.
  8. Once solid, vacuum seal the patties and store in the fridge.
  9. Preheat SousVide Supreme to 130°F and cook the sliders for 45 minutes.
  10. Remove burgers from the water, dry with paper towels, and heat ghee in a skillet over high heat.
  11. Sear the burgers for about 45 seconds on each side.
