Oven Roasted Corn with Honey Chili Butter

Ingredients

The corn

  • 4 ears fresh corn

The honey chili butter

  • 4 Tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. Prepare the ears of corn by cutting off the tip to remove most of the silk and removing the outer husks, leaving some inner layers.
  3. Place the prepared ears of corn directly on the oven rack and roast for 35 minutes.
  4. While the corn is roasting, prepare the honey chili butter by mixing butter, honey, chili powder, and salt in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. After 35 minutes, remove the corn from the oven and let it rest for about five minutes before peeling back the husks and removing any remaining silk.
  6. Serve hot with the honey chili butter for smearing over the corn.
