Sesame Noodles

Ingredients

The noodles

  • 10 oz thin spaghetti or dry ramen

The sauce

  • 2 Tbsp water or unsalted chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Tbsp rice vinegar
  • Tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • tsp sriracha
  • tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp ginger

The garnish

  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup chopped roasted peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch, then mix in soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, peanut butter, and sriracha.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Add the sauce mixture to the saucepan and cook until it thickens slightly.
  5. Toss the drained noodles with the sauce and garnish with green onions, peanuts, and sesame seeds before serving.
