Ingredients

The wings

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup gluten-free baking flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Optional Garnishes

  • to taste carrot sticks
  • to taste celery sticks
  • to taste chopped green onions
  • to taste ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Make the buffalo sauce by heating hot sauce and butter in a saucepan until the butter melts.
  2. Combine almond milk and apple cider vinegar in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix gluten-free baking flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried parsley, and black pepper. Add the almond milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
  4. Coat the cauliflower florets with the batter in a large bowl.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and add half of the cauliflower to the basket without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 7 minutes, then shake or turn the cauliflower and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until browned.
  7. Remove the cooked cauliflower and keep warm. Repeat with the second batch.
  8. Toss the cooked cauliflower with the buffalo sauce and serve immediately with optional garnishes.
