Ingredients

The beans

  • 1 28 oz can Pork and Beans
  • 1 15 oz can Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 15 oz can Black Beans
  • 1 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans
  • 1 15 oz can Great Northern Beans
  • 1 15 oz can Cannellini Beans

The flavorings

  • 1 small Sweet Onion
  • 6 slices Thick Cut Smoky Bacon
  • cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Molasses
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 1-2 tsp Liquid Smoke
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • ½ cup Smoky Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • ½ tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and stir well.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 5-6 hours or on High for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Allow beans to cool; they will thicken. Reheat without adding water if desired.
