Baked Beans in a Crockpot

Instructions
- Place the beans, bacon, bell pepper, and onion in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the tomato sauce, maple syrup, mustard, vinegar, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the bean mixture and add the water.
- Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 10 to 12 hours.
- Discard the onion pieces before serving warm.
