Homemade Pita Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 pita breads pita bread
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • a pinch paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Cut each pita bread into 8 triangles.
  3. Arrange the pita triangles on the baking sheet without overlapping.
  4. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and sea salt.
  5. Brush the pita chips with olive oil and sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture on top.
  6. Flip the chips, brush with more oil, and sprinkle the remaining seasoning.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
