Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, Nutella, sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer for about 4 minutes.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and hazelnut extract (if using) and mix until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined, then fold in the hazelnuts.
- Spoon out tablespoon-sized mounds of dough onto a cookie sheet, spacing them about 4 inches apart.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
- Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
