Classic Waldorf Salad Wraps

Ingredients

The salad

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup diced apple
  • ¾ cup sliced grapes
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • to taste salt + pepper

The wrap

  • as needed flour tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce or spinach

Instructions

  1. Mix the chicken, walnuts, apple, grapes, and celery in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the mayonnaise mixture to the chicken mixture and stir until combined.
  4. Lay out the tortillas and add about ½ cup of lettuce to each.
  5. Spoon ½ to ¾ cup of the chicken salad onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
  6. To seal, use a toothpick or press the fold onto a hot pan for about 60 seconds.
  7. Cut and serve.
