Instructions
- Slice the tomatoes in half lengthwise and drizzle the cut sides with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat, brushing it with olive oil.
- Place the tomatoes on the grill, cut side down, and grill for 4 to 6 minutes until grill marks form.
- Flip the tomatoes and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes until tender but not collapsing.
- Transfer the tomatoes to a serving platter, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with Italian dressing, and top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
