Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1 lime
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • tsp cayenne (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Wash and cut the sweet potatoes into wedges and soak them in cold water for at least one hour.
  3. 3. After soaking, dry the fries completely.
  4. 4. While the fries are drying, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, pepper, and cayenne.
  5. 5. Place the dried fries in a bag or bowl and add the arrowroot starch, tossing to coat.
  6. 6. Add the chili lime sauce to the fries and toss again until fully coated.
  7. 7. Lay the fries evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. 8. Flip each fry and bake for another 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Season with salt after removing from the oven.
