Ingredients

The figs

  • 25 pieces dried figs

The bacon

  • 8–9 strips bacon, cut into thirds

The cheese mixture

  • 3 oz goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh sage, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Boil water in a medium saucepan and add the dried figs, letting them sit for 5-10 minutes until plump.
  3. Pat the figs dry with a paper towel.
  4. Mix the goat cheese, rosemary, thyme, sage, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  5. Cut a slit in each fig and stuff it with the cheese mixture.
  6. Wrap each fig with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  7. Place the wrapped figs seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
